From Vogue to Nationalmuseum

“The dress have had quite a fun life. Starting at the Exhibition Baroque Design at Kulturhuset, followed by the Exhibition Nordic Artwear at Borås Textile Museum before the new permanent residence at Nationalmuseum.
The dress have been through artistic dance performances and fashion shoots, it’s been visualized by the one and only photographer Thomas Klementsson and featured in Vogue Italia. It has travelled overseas to LA, worn by creative artist Bea Åkerlund and exhibited at The Residency - and finally ending up at Jennifer Hudson when she performed at the Hollywood Bowl last year.”

The Arty Farty dress consists of a 15 meter long piece of voile, into which a collar and sleeves have been sewn. The construction is inspired by medieval ways to cut clothes and the whole piece of fabric has been used without any waste.
